ZebiAI Therapeutics, Inc. was a privately held biotechnology company that applied machine learning to DNA-encoded library and protein–small-molecule interaction data for target validation, chemical-probe generation, and small-molecule drug discovery. The company was launched in 2019, partnered with organizations including Google, X-Chem, the EUbOPEN consortium, and TB Alliance, and was acquired by Relay Therapeutics in April 2021. The transaction included $85 million in upfront consideration—$20 million in cash and $65 million in Relay stock—with potential additional milestone and collaboration payments. ZebiAI is therefore no longer an independent operating company; its technology was incorporated into Relay Therapeutics’ drug-discovery platform.
